Who and What does the PTA do?
The PTA is small number of parents who help raise money through fun events and initiatives: Discos, The Christmas Fair, Summer Fete and so on.
What does the PTA spend its money on?
The PTA liaises with the school to decide what equipment and resources are needed the most. The purchases are always used to enrich the children’s education. For example, we have raised money for IT equipment, Resources for reading, and Playtime equipment.
How does the PTA help the school?
The PTA provides tea, coffee and refreshments at the Christmas Concerts, Summer Sports Day and Presentation evenings. We attend Open Evenings and School special assemblies to show prospective parents our commitment to providing extra resources for our pupils so that they have the very best education. We contribute towards School Discos, and Year 6 leaving presents.
How can you help?
Our PTA depends on a continual cycle of parent involvement. As children reach their final year and leave, so do their parents. If you are interested in supporting the PTA please inform the school, as new members are always welcome. We welcome anyone who would like to share ideas, give any input, and offer their help. We realise it is difficult to commit to regular support but we are happy with any help, especially during busy times.
